RV PARKS AND CAMPGROUNDS

If you don't mind driving about 15 miles outside of town, you'll want to head down I-65 to Oak Mountain State Park, P O Box 78, Pelham, AL, 205-620-2527. Here you'll find about 10,000 acres of woodland, an 18-hole championship golf course, two 85 acre lakes with bream, bass, and catfish, horseback riding trails, a petting farm, beaches, and hiking trails. Oh and with all this to offer I almost forgot the two campgrounds. They have over 130 sites, laundry, showers, playground, a camp store, and full hookups.
