Housed in a replicated turn-of-the century barn, this museum features exhibits highlighting this area's rural heritage. On the grounds, you'll also find a working windmill and agricultural exhibits. To see exhibits about how hurricanes form & the devastation they cause, along with objects used to shrimp and fish, drop in at the Gulf Shores Museum, 244 West 19th Ave, 251-967-4733.

Now if you would like to do your sight seeing from the water, this area also has lots of neat choices for you. In Elberta, you'll find Classic Charters, Bear Point Marina, 251-981-5609. They offer sunset sails on their 65-foot schooner Cyrus E. King, or kayak adventure trips, a senior sailing club, and kids sailing camps.
