Open since 1897, this pillar of Huntsville stores, has remained
almost unchanged. Among its goodies you'll find nostalgic hardware,
household items, and local handmade crafts.
Shopping mall groupies will want to visit both of Huntsville's
two largest malls. Madison Square Mall is at University Drive
(US 72 West) at Rideout Road. Here you'll find two floors of
shopping with anchors like Parisian, McRae's, and Castner Knott,
along with a slew of specialty stores. For more mall shopping
head on over to Parkway City Mall, at Memorial Parkway at Drake
Ave. If the kind of store you want to explore is filled with
outdoor stuff, you'll want to head instead to the Outdoor Omnibus,
