want to drop by Barnhill's Country Buffet, 8102 N Davis Hwy.,
850-477-5465. Its one of the best for the money. If seafood is
what you crave stop at Groupers Seafood and Steak Restaurant,
830 E Gregory St., 850-438-3141; Hall's Seafood, 920 E Gregory
St., 850-438-9019; or the Marina Oyster Barn, 505 Bayou Blvd.,
850-433-0511. If you stop at the Barn what should you order?
Those in the know recommend the shrimp & crab claws, the
gumbo, and to end the meal, a yummy piece of Key lime pie.
If you'd enjoy taking your fur baby along head to the dog
friendly deck at the
Oar House, 1000 South Place Blvd, 850-549-4444. Along with
the great company and wonderful setting on Bayou Chico, you can
enjoy their etouffee, red beans & rice, grilled, fried or
blackened shrimp,award wining crab cakes, and chocolate lovin'
spoon cake. Another great choice for good seafood is Boy on a

family style and their reputation is so good, don't be surprised
to find a line of locals waiting to get in. If you've always
wanted a taste of southern fried frog legs, head to the upscale
Global Grill, 275 Palafox Place, 850-469-9966.
Love the adventure of trying locally brewed beers? Then you'll
enjoy munching on a great steak or burger and then washing it
down with McGuire's Red Ale, McGuire's
