TIPS FOR TRAVELERS

If you like the idea of saving yourself the hassle of driving downtown, you'll want to get more information on Atlanta's public transportation system. Clicking on MARTA, will help you learn how it works and allow you to see current bus and train schedules.

Though Atlanta is a friendly town, keep in mind it is still a big city. As with any large city, stay alert to your surroundings, keep your cash hidden, park in well-lit areas, keep personal items locked in the trunk of your car out of sight, always lock your car and RV, and when driving at night, stay on well-lit roads and don't walk alone.

Does one of your traveling companions consider chasing a ball a grand form of aerobic exercise? Then you'll be glad to know that, in case of an emergency, you can contact the vets at the Animal Emergency Clinic, 228 Sandy Springs Pl. NE, 404-252-7881; or the North Atlanta Animal Medical, 208 Sandy Springs Pl. NE, 404-255-9345.
