Bangor has the Paul Bunyan Campground and the Pleasant Hill
Campground. We enjoyed our stay at the Pleasant Hill Campground,
222 Union St, I-95 & exit 47, 207-848-5127. They feature
a store, a heated pool, some full hookups, a laundry, a campground
store, a fireplace and picnic table at each site, and on site
phone hookups. They also have a recreation hall, two playgrounds,
miniature golf, horseshoes, volleyball, basketball, and fishing
ponds.
At Paul Bunyan, 1862 Union St., 207-941-1177, you'll find
a large heated pool, some full hookups, pull- thrus, showers,
and recreation areas.
