Does the sight of a Precious Moments figurine cause your heart to beat a little faster? Then you'll love your visit to Carthage and the Precious Moments Chapel, 4321 Chapel Rd, 417-358-7599.

Tours start about every 30 minutes and will give you a chance to view 15 beautiful stain glass windows and 54 painted murals covering 5,000 square feet of wall. If you're the tender-hearted type, you'd better have a Kleenex handy when the tour guide explains the largest mural, Hallelujah Square.
