SIGHT SEEING
For indoor sight seeing head to the casinos. Here you'll find
shows, theathers, or even in some cases rides. Plus its just
fun to walk around and look at the various themes they have dreamed
up for each hotel.
Once you feel like heading outside, drive to the Southern
Nevada Zoological Park, 1775 N Rancho Drive, 702-647-4685. Here
you can enjoy over 150 species of plants and animals, including
Barbary apes, wallabies, and venomous reptiles.
Feeling even more adventurous? Call Black Canyon Raft Tours,1297
Nevada Hwy, Blouder City, 702-293-3776 and make plans to see
some of Nevada's beauty up close on a one day raft trip from
Hoover Dam to Willow Beach on the Colorado River. For something
less strenuous you can paddle around Lake Mead, walk the trails
at Red Rock Canyon, or tour Hoover Dam.
Prefer to get your thrills behind the wheel? Then you'll find
what you are looking for at the Richard Petty Driving Experience,
6975 Speedway Blvd, Las Vegas Motor Speedway, 702-643-4343. Hooking
up with these folks will give you a chance to drive or ride in
a Winston Cup Style Stock car at the Motor Speedway. If you opt
for the ride-along, you'll be strapped into a specially designed
two-seat stock car and then a professional instructor will zoom
you around the track for 3 laps. Not enough? Then make plans
to sign up for one of their driving courses that puts you behind
the wheel.
Need something to calm your nerves after your ride? Though
a slow stroll through a chocolate factory isn't your normal sight
seeing trip in Vegas you can tour the Ethel M Chocolate Factory
& Cactus Garden, 1 Sunset Way, Henderson, NV, 702-435-2641.
In good conscious I must warn you that these chocolates are highly
addictive. Favor M & M's? Then you'll find happiness in Vegas
too at M & M
World Las Vegas, at the Showcas Mall next to the MGM Grand,

movie, view a full sized NASCAR Race car, personalize your very
own M & Ms and generally run wild on four floors of family
fun.

Coke bottle, then wet your whistle with unlimited refills of
over 30 different soft drinks, and shop in their Everything Coca-Cola
store. Or, if juice is your drink of favor, you'll want to head
