SHOPPING

For fun shops and restaurants head to the Historic Warehouse District, West 3rd to West 10th Streets, between Superior Ave and Front Street, just northwest of Public Square. Not only will you run onto some unique businesses but you will also have a chance to see some of Cleveland's great architecture from the 1850s through the 1920s.

Another fun shopping stop is the West Side Market, West 1979 W 25th St, at 25th Street and Lorain Ave, under the clock tower, 216-664-3386. Here you'll find about 100 vendors selling everything from baked goodies to fresh produce. For more unique shopping head to the Avenue at Tower City, 50 Public Square, 216-771-0033; and the Galleria at Erieview, 1301 E Ninth St., 216-861-4343. Both feature upscale shopping and fine restaurants.

If you enjoy the convenience of mall shoppings, you'll be glad to know that Cleveland has malls scattered all over, including the Euclid Square Mall, 1280 E 260th St., Euclid, 216-289- 8200; the Tower City Center, 100 Public Square, 216-579-2580; the Randall Park Mall, 201 Randall Park Mall; N Randall, OH, 216-581-7500; Great Lakes Mall, 7850 Mentor Ave, Mentor, OH, 440-255-6900; and Southpark Center, 500 Southpark Center, Strongsville, OH, 440-238-9000.

If you are addicted to outlet shopping, you won't mind driving a little way to the Aurora Premium Outlets and Lodi Prime Outlets. The Aurora Premium Outlets, 549 South Chillicothe Road, Rt. 43, Aurora, OH, 330-562-2000, features over 65 stores of brand name and designer goodies. The Lodi Prime Outlets, I-71 & Rte 83, exit 204, 888-746-7563, features over 75 stores of top brand name merchandise at outlet discount prices.

As you watch your campground neighbors set up, does it strike you that just one or two things could make your RV life easier and more fun? Then head on over to Camping World, 144 Industrial Pkwy. N, Brunswich, OH, 800-528-4566, where you'll find all kinds of RV products and handy gadgets. But plan on spending some time, because with so much neat stuff to see, you'll probably find yourself wandering slowly up and down every aisle.

If you just need to fill up the fridge or pick up a few supplies, you'll want to head to Dave's SuperMarket, 22600 Shore Center Dr, 216-289-0506; or the Wal-Mart, 10000 Brook Park Rd, 216-741-7340.
