At the Lake Mitchell Campground, 2601 N Main, 605-995-8457;
you'll find 70 shaded sites overlooking Lake Mitchell,. They
also offer a group and tent camping area, sand beach, full hook
ups, a playground, handicap accessible restrooms, a convenience
store, cable TV, dump station, and laundry. They also have fishing,
swimming, canoe and paddle boats, hiking trails, and an outdoor
chapel. You'll find a shopping center and golf course nearby.
They are only open from April 15th to November 1.
A stay at the Dakota Campground, 1800 W Spruce, 605-996-9432,
will give you a chance to enjoy their pool, game room, launderette,
pull-thru sites, and playground. At the R & R Campground,
1700 S Burr St, 605-996-8895, you'll find pull through sites,
a pool, game room, launderette, handicap accessible restrooms,
and a playground for the young or young at heart.
If you are traveling with non-RVing friends, you'll want to
check out the camping cabins at either the Famil-E-Fun Campground
or the Riverside KOA. At the Famil-E-Fun Campground, 25473 403rd
Ave, 605-996-8983, you'll also find a pool, a game room, launderette,
handicap accessible restrooms, pull-thru sites, and a playground.
Staying at the Riverside KOA, 41244 SD Hwy 38, 800-KOA-1236;
605-996-1131; will give you a chance to enjoy their pool, game
room, launderette, playground, and pull-thru sites.
