If you like mall shopping you'll be glad to hear that Memphis has 11 of them to choose from. The largest and newest, Wolfchase Galleria, 2760 N. Germantown Parkway, 901-381-2769, has over 120 specialty shops with 35 area exclusives. The other big shopping mall is the Mall of Memphis, I-240 at Perkins Rd., 901-362-9315, with over 120 shops and 14 eateries You'll also want to hit the 300,000-square-foot Peabody Place Retail and Entertainment Center, 150 Peabody, 901-261-7529, stores like featuring Jillians, Tower Records, Starbucks, and a 21-screen movie theatre with a 3-D IMAX.
If you like really unique shops, you might enjoy Flashbacks-The Vintage Department Store, 2304 Central Ave, 901-272-2304; or the Afrikan Emporium, 1263 S Lions Gate Dr, 901-340-7730. At Flashbacks you will find vintage fashions, deco furniture, 50s collectibles, and Herman Miller for the home. If you've always wanted to experience an African
