RV PARKS AND CAMPGROUNDS
For a quick stop, Jim and I enjoyed our stay at the Destiny
Dallas RV Resort, 7100 S Stemmons St, I-35 E to exit 460,
Denton, TX, 940-497-3353 because of its easy on and off and the
fact that it was close to Camping World. They feature full hookups,
some pull-thrus, picnic tables, a laundry, grocery store, a swimming
pool, playground, WiFi, a fitness center, 6 acre sports field,
car, truck & RV wash, and 24 hour courtesy patrol.
If you are going to spend time exploring Fort Worth you can't
beat the convenience of the Fort
Worth Midtown RV Park, 2906 W 6th St, 817-335-9330. Here
you will find 17 spaces with 3 of those being pull-thrus, full
hookups, cable TV, WiFi, restrooms, laundry, and a small convenience
store. Plus their location will put you right in the thick of
the museum district.
If having an on-site phone hookup is important to you, you'll
want to check out Sandy
Lake RV Park, 1915 Sandy Lake Road, Carrollton, TX, I-35
E exit 444, 972-242-6808. They offer full hookups, pull-thrus,
picnic tables, cable TV, WiFi, a laundry, a swimming pool, recreation
hall, and horseshoe area.
