staying at The Rayford
Crossing RV Resort, 29321 S Plum Creek Drive, Spring, TX
(just about 20 miles from Houston), is bound to spoil you. Here
you'll find a wide range of activities for everyone in the family
including swimming, a fishing pond, bbq pavilion, a playground,
exercise room, hiking and biking trails, and a pet park. Plus
they offer a library, free wifi and Direct TV, spacious full
hookup RV sites with concrete pad, laundry, restrooms, and more.
If you plan to visit the Traders Village Flea Market, one
of our American Journeys RVers recommends you park your rig at
their RV Park, 7979 N Eldridge Rd., 713-890-5500. They offer
full hookups, 50 amp service, pull-thrus, and concrete pads.
Another good choice is the Houston Leisure Park, 1601 South
Main Street, Highlands, TX, 281-426-3576; 800-982-8285 for reservations.
Here you'll find full hookups, a laundry room, clean restrooms,
a tennis court, an equipped pavilion, long pull-thrus, paved
streets, lots of trees, and propane.
If you want to stay a little way from Houston's hustle and
bustle, Jim and I enjoyed the Bayside RV Park & Pier, 5619
FM 646 Rd W, Bacliff, TX, about 42 miles from Houston, 281-339-2131.
This park is right on Galveston Bay and offers full hookups,
laundry, restrooms/showers, fishing supplies, deli, propane,
club room and pavilions, and seasonal activities.
Or if free Wi-Fi access is important to, another of our American
Journeys RVers, recommends you head to the Magnolia Country RV
Park, 23815 Nichols Sawmill, Hockley, TX, 281-356-7592. They
loved the convenience of the Wi-Fi hookups, the helpful staff,
and nice clean park.
