TIPS FOR TRAVELERS

Even though it can become warm and humid during summer days, if you have any night time activities planned by the lake you'll want a light jacket.

You'll be hard pressed to visit here during a summer time weekend without finding some neat festival or fair being held. But keep in mind that once Labor Day hits, several of the local sights switch to shorter schedules. So if you plan on traveling here after the 1st of September it would be wise to call ahead and confirm the hours of operation of the places you most want to visit.

If you are traveling with little fur babies, you'll be glad to know that, in case of an emergency, you can contact the folks at the Animal Emergency Center, 2100 W Silver Spring Dr, 414-540-6710; or the City Animal Hospital, 325 W Silver Spring Dr, 414-332-5555.
